Welcome to marçel. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to marcel s.r.o., operating under the brand marçel.

This website and all related services (“Services”) are provided to offer a personalized shopping experience. The platform is powered by Shopify.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time.

3. ORDERS

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase.

The contract is concluded only upon confirmation by the seller.

We reserve the right to reject any order.

Prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.

Shipping costs are shown at checkout.

5. DELIVERY

Delivery times are indicative only.

Under EU law, risk passes to the customer upon delivery.

6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (EU)

You have the right to withdraw within 14 days without giving any reason in accordance with:

  • Directive 2011/83/EU

  • Slovak Act No. 102/2014

  • Czech Civil Code

Exceptions:

No withdrawal for:

  • custom-made products

  • personalized items

  • hygiene goods after opening

7. COMPLAINTS

Liability for defects is governed by applicable Slovak and EU law.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content belongs to marcel s.r.o. or its licensors.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We are not responsible for third-party services.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Liability is limited to the extent permitted by EU law.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic.

14. ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If the seller rejects a consumer’s request for remedy or fails to respond within 30 days from the date of submission, the consumer has the right to submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to an ADR entity in accordance with Section 12 of Act No. 391/2015 Coll. on Alternative Dispute Resolution (as amended).

The consumer may also contact another authorized legal entity listed by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic:

The consumer has the right to choose the ADR entity.

In the case of cross-border disputes or contracts concluded online, the consumer may also use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform available at:
http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

When submitting a complaint via the ODR platform, the consumer must complete an electronic form. The information provided must be sufficient to determine the competent ADR entity. The consumer may also attach supporting documents.

Alternative dispute resolution applies exclusively to disputes between a consumer and a seller arising from or related to a consumer contract.

ADR may only be used by a consumer (a natural person) acting outside the scope of their business activity, employment, or profession.

The ADR entity may refuse the proposal if the value of the dispute does not exceed EUR 20.
